The Magic Network aims to provide its users with a wide range of features that allow them to easily share information, discuss the latest trends, interact with one another, and promote themselves and their magic, all in a friendly, community environment!

Some of the many features of The Magic Network include:

1.  The ability to search for other members based on various criteria such as city, country, style of magic and type of venue.

2.  A personal profile with the following features:

• A profile wall where other members can leave messages, subject to your privacy settings.
• Any personal or business info you want to share with the community, including links to any of your sites, with full privacy control.
• The ability to stream your Twitter feed.
• A display of your videos, your photos, your reviews, and more.

3.  A Photo Gallery where you can upload photos, tag yourself in photos and rate/comment on photos.

4.  A full-featured forum to discuss any topic in magic or mentalism.  Your forum profile is linked with the your profile page, so you have an easy connection between the two.

5.  Groups and the ability to create groups that are invitation-only, open, or approval only.  Groups have access to their own, private, group-discussion forums that only group members can see.  This can be useful, for example, if you sell a product and would like to start a group that is only open to members that have purchased the product.  You can discuss the product in the group forums without any other users being able to see the discussions.

6.  A full-featured private messaging system.

7.  A "friends" (also called "connections") system that allows you to add friends and control your privacy such that only friends can see certain information on your profile, if you wish.

8.  A Marketplace - for you to post jobs or magic items for sale.

9.  Live Chat and Chatrooms - through the private chat bar, which allows you to chat one-on-one and create your own chat rooms, which can also contain "invitation only" group chats.  You can also chat with other members at: http://chat.themagicnetwork.com

10.  A Video Gallery to stream and show off all your videos!

11. A fully featured community blog tool, that allows you to write your own blog posts with text, images and videos.  Your blog posts have their own RSS feed that is compatible with feedburner, and they will be displayed in your profile and on The Magic Network's home page!

12. An awesome Activity Stream on the Home Page and on your profile page, that lets you post your thoughts, and have a quick overview of recent site activities.  You can comment on, and like, the activities and thoughts of other members.  Your privacy settings for the activity stream are also fully customizable.  Go to the "Newsfeed" tab when you "Update Your Profile" to adjust your privacy settings.

13. An awesome Reviews tool... read, write and search magic book, DVD, and effect reviews with ease!

14. Instant Download Files to learn magic and the business of magic.  You can even upload your own files to sell on The Magic Network.  Just go to "Upload a Document" under "Your Menu" on the left side tool bar.  We will publish your documents for sale after we have reviewed and approved them.  Payments for sales will go directly to your PayPal account!

15.  A "Tip Jar" on your profile page to allow you to receive "tips" (money/donations) from other members in exchange for your VALUABLE contributions!  (Just go to "Update Your Profile" and add your PayPal ID to the "Tip Jar" tab).

16. Plus much much more!
