Diplopia is one of the strongest impromptu mentalism effects that you can do with a borrowed deck of cards.

Here's what happens: The magi asks to borrow adeck of cards. The spectator is invited to think of any card. They are asked to verify that the card is in the deck and it is. Then the magi thinks of a card and he then verifies that it too is in the deck.

The magi challenges the spectator to find the card he was merely thinking of and offers to transfer his powers to the spectator to assist them with the process. With one touch, the spectator gets an image of the card and removes it from the deck, hidden from the magi's sight.

The magi then attempts to find the spectator's thought of card. In the end, the magi correctly names the card. But the kicker here is that the spectator also has the magi's thought of card!

There is no forcing and no equivoque involved. Additionally, this manuscript details with permission the heavily sought after Infinity Principle created by Martin Nash. Martin used to sell this teaching for $50 a person!

Shall we all just take a moment of silence for the brilliance of Paul vigil

what can be said about this effect, a brilliant piece of 'card mentalism' with many different paths to travel as far as 'presentation' and 'persona' go

Paul has taking 'classic' moves that go overlooked and passed over by magicians and created an elegant piece of 'working material'

i gave this an 'advance' rating due to the respect needed to work on presentation before going out and doing this, while the routine itself may be "easy enough" to grasp it deserves the presentation to make this a level beyond 'regular magic'

This is so elegant, so impossible, so simple (except the one move that takes months of practice). I would recommend this to anyone in card magic.

It does take a lot of practice for the one move, but it is essential, and well worth it. The routine is so cool!

I am converting to a fan of Paul Vigil.

Teaches you the infinity principle that sells alone for $50. Pretty good value if you ask me.

Pros
Such an amazing effect. All of the separate methods close of explanations to each other, leaving you with something impossible.
Cons
Take's a long time to learn, and a Bit of mental maths, but that's not really a con :)
